Birding and Balling
If only life were so simple as to be happily entertained with solely birds and balls (...and biscuits).
Dude, Where’s The Snow?
Snow isn't too common here in the Vancouver City area over the winter months, but we usually get a little bit of it. I can only recall one day so far this winter that we've received snowfall, and it's been the mildest winter on record. My local bike shop, Velocity Cycles, had the cheeky advertising going on above. Advertising works, as proved my newly acquired bicycle below:
Seasonal Confusion
Passing by this display, I didn't know whether to buy one of the snow shovels and grab my winter coat, scarf and touque and get ready for snow or grab my sunscreen, a garden spade and a bag of fertilizer and plant some of these primulas for spring. It's January in Vancouver. Who knows what season that means it is.
