An Afternoon in Stanley Park

The fallen leaves and colours are a giveaway that this footage was from the fall. I just got to putting together a little montage now. Stanley Park is fantastic. I always look forward to seeing the raccoons. Cute enough to feed, it's hard to resist the urge.

Land of the Rising Sun

This is the Vancouver Convention Centre reflecting some early morning rays from the rising run. It's so golden and warm-looking and reminds me of watching one of those Living Fireplace videos. The Living Fireplace is essentially eternal though if you loop the video. This scene is much more ephemeral than that.

Gaoler’s Mews Gastown

Gastown has some interesting sights, with Gaoler's Mews being part of one of the most aesthetically pleasing regions. Surrounding yourself with brick walls, sturdy-looking doors and old towne signs, the cobblestone paths make you expect your horse and buggy to round the corner at any moment. I've learned that Gaoler's Mews was once the town jail. It's nice to be able to walk around with freedom.
