Tulip-tastic
Playing around with the somewhat contrasting combination of desaturation and sunlight. Aren't tulips pretty? I'd love to be able to stand in a sea of them in Holland. Maybe I'd find something like that at Butchart or VanDusen Gardens? Can't wait for Spring!
Orange You Glad

Sunlight is an excellent mood-improver. Tulips brighten a day. Combine sunlight and tulips, and you can't help but smile.
Repetition for the Eyes
Patterns in nature make up very interesting exercises for the eyes. The gradation in colour here emulates a sunset, changing from yellow at the centre apex to red towards the bottom. Discover other cool photos along the same lines of patterns in flora at National Geographic.
A Resounding Sigh (of Disappointment)
Summer's over, and Daisy here feels just as crushed as most people do about that fact.
Please the Bees
Here's a close look at some bees busy on some pink flowers. Or perhaps it's the same bee who's extra busy on a number of flowers. Assuming the flower is as tasty to the bee as the sumptuous pink colour looks, it's no wonder the bees were crawling all over with delight.

Ouch
Here's an interesting plant that looks rather vicious and painful if you were to reach out and grab it. The spiders don't seem to mind it though given the webbing covering parts of it. The spikes probably serve to trap lots of little critters for spider snacks.
Lavender Honey
The lavender smells so good this time of year even the bees can't stay away from it. I wonder where I can find some lavender honey...
Fly Zone
Here's Fly hanging out one afternoon on a lime leaf. The pinkish-purple petunias behind just so happened to make a nice colour for a natural backdrop.
The Berries Are Coming!
I can't wait to throw these on some cereal once the season starts. Seedy, and so tasty.
