Peaked
These mountains are part of the Golden Ears Provincial Park north of Maple Ridge. I'm not sure if these peaks themselves compose Golden Ears, but they look striking and impressive enough to have been the source of the namesake. Then again, generally any mountain range around here is impressive enough to knock your socks off.
2010 Blue Skies Olympiad
This is the sky in Vancouver these days. It is as warm as it looks. My taxes are paying for such things as dumptrucks hauling snow across the province in order to pad Cypress Mountain for the outdoor events; it's been the mildest winter ever this year in Vancouver, yielding little snow even at higher elevations. I can't think of a better use of money this year or the 34 years ahead that taxpayers will be footing Olympiad bills like this.
