Land of the Rising Sun
This is the Vancouver Convention Centre reflecting some early morning rays from the rising run. It's so golden and warm-looking and reminds me of watching one of those Living Fireplace videos. The Living Fireplace is essentially eternal though if you loop the video. This scene is much more ephemeral than that.
Waterfront Morning
I hate getting up early. Sunrise scenes like this though at Canada Place with a camera phone in hand make it worthwhile losing out on some sleep.
Snuff and Stuff
What the heck is happening here?
On this car dash there's 4 tins of chewing tobacco (Long Cut Straight only), a lighter, a bunch of nails and..... a yellow package for a "Self Heating Foot Warmer". This vehicle must belong to MacGyver's nicotine-addicted brother:
Upstairs, Downstairs
Living in an apartment block comes with many hazards. It is also often an interesting place to live when you're a bit nosy like I am. I was passing by this doorway and was immediately intrigued by a handwritten post-it note stuck on the front door so I had to investigate. The addition of the sad and happy smiley faces is a nice touch.
