The Sunset Scene

The sun sets in the West, and the West Coast is a great place to be if you're a fan of catching glimpses of spectacular colour combinations. They come in all shapes and colours, with accessories too like a reflective cloud seen here.

You Know Summer’s Coming When…

... you partake of the local golf driving range for the first time in the year. Below is a video sampling of my beginner-level initial hits of the season. I'm trying to shake the cobwebs both literally off my clubs and proverbially off my skills!

Blush

The pink hue from a sunset lit up the receding snow atop these mountains. Reminds me of a cupcake topped with Betty Crocker pink frosting, albeit a meagre amount of icing sugary goodness in this case.

Chop Chop

Something looks funny about this helicopter.... akin to forgetting to put your pants on before going out in public. The frame structure makes it look somewhat undressed.

On The Right Side of the Fence

I've been watching a bit of the Prison Break television series lately - Season 1. Chain link fencing reminds me of it. So does chopped off toes, but I won't be taking any pictures of that.

Clear for Landing

I'm always amazed when on an airplane at how the giant piece of metal I'm sitting in is able to take off and stay up there with all the weight on it. Here's one landing during sunset at the Pitt Meadows Airport.
