Rounding the Motocross Corners

More Mission Raceway Motocross practicing.... my shoes need a scrubbing but I didn't need to enrobe my camera in plastic this time because it was a drier track. Either that or I'm learning to stay out of harm's way.

Dirty Motocross

Time to get out the Q-Tips. My camera was a casualty of mud sprays and splashes at motocross practice at Mission Raceway:

Poison in Pretty Clothing

Foxglove is an attractive, stately flower that grows in the wild and in cultivated gardens alike. I didn't realize that it preserves other cut flowers when arranged in a vase, and also stimulates the endurance of root vegetables like potatoes. Just don't go garnishing your potatoes with foxglove petals like how violets and lavender are added to salads and baked goods. Ingesting certain amounts of foxglove is poisonous!

Magic Marker

This is a sign marking a hiking trail in the middle of the forest. People can't just leave well enough alone, can they? I mean, really, if you're going to go through the effort of defacing a sign then why not at least draw something funny. Drawing a bottle in one hand, some sort of burning material that's cigarette-shaped in the other hand (we can guess what that is), and putting shoes on him just doesn't cut it. I haven't the slightest clue why he's speaking the makings of a tic-tac-toe board.

Stave Lake + Winter + Idiot

We certainly enjoy the stark differences that all four seasons affords us in BC.

For example, contrast the surroundings of Stave Lake in the summer on a calm and peaceful day....

with what the surroundings of Stave Lake can be in the winter. Highlight is the "open the door" part at the end. And you thought your car was dirty....
