Peaked
These mountains are part of the Golden Ears Provincial Park north of Maple Ridge. I'm not sure if these peaks themselves compose Golden Ears, but they look striking and impressive enough to have been the source of the namesake. Then again, generally any mountain range around here is impressive enough to knock your socks off.
Shoulder Check While Driving
At first glance it looks like this dog is driving this Toyota down the Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge and doing its due diligence to do a shoulder check. Rather, the dog is in the backseat and is hanging as much of his body out of the vehicle as possible in order to make its own convertible on the first truly summer day we've had this year.
Mountain Majesty
During a jaunt across the Golden Ears Bridge with my bicycle I had a nice view of the mountain range on the north side. The sun trying to break through the clouds highlighted the snow-capped peaks. Even dreary days don't take away from the surrounding beauty here.
Paws to Say Hello
The more humanly acceptable version of a mandatory sniff hello between man's best friends.
All For Naught
A pond in Maple Ridge that is regularly circled by dog walkers and runners has this sign posted along its banks. The ripples in the water speak to the redundancy of the warning so far this temperate winter.
