Home on the Range
One of the things that makes British Columbia special is how every region of the province has its own character. There's the rainforest-like West Coast, the farmland of the Fraser Valley, the desert climate of the Central Interior, the rugged Rocky Mountains on the Eastern border and the scenic forests of the North. This is a farm just outside of Chilliwack, highlighted against a dark mountainous backdrop by a sky that didn't know whether to rain or shine.
Annis Road
I've driven by this sign hundreds of times, and it still makes me laugh as much as it did the first time I ever saw it. Either I am entertained with childish jokes really easily, or the City of Chilliwack really did pick a ridiculous name for this road.
This Spaniel Could Not Be More Bored
I've never seen a dog look so unimpressed as this Spaniel did while traveling Highway 1 just outside of Bridal Falls in the back of a pick-up truck. Sitting in the bed of a truck going 120 km/hr down the highway would instill a bit more excitement in me than apparently in this dog, but I guess after you've done it a handful of times as I'm sure Spaniel here has, the sense of wild abandon must lose its shine.
