Waddling Through the Leaves
A beautiful and vibrant sight, nothing says autumn more than bountiful harvest colours like these. With a goose thrown in of course, just to reiterate that this is Canada after all.

Nice Autumnal picture. Maybe its a Christmas goose, but it just does not know it. On the whole I do like goose and not just for dinner, though I must say most of the Canada geese I have ever met have very bad manners.

The geese can be quite brazen! They’ve been known to stick their tongues out, flap about and honk quite loudly (one can only imagine what they could be saying…). There are tons of them around here, and they are so used to humans. Sometimes you can walk up and touch one, although they don’t like that much!

Tis the season to bring out the rakes and collect the leaves. Lots of work, but also lots of prettiness. Thanks Steffe!

Welcome back! Your photo is the epitome of autumn. I love the golden hues and dark tree trunks…and, the goose is perfect. Hope you’re enjoying the fall season.

Hi SRQ! Fall is beautiful, but you know that soon enough, raking up the leaves turns into shovelling snow. We’re supposed to get a bad winter this year, which means we’ll probably get some snow even here too (… a bit rare for Vancouver). I’d send you some when it starts, but it’d melt by the time it got to you!
