Morning Coffee
A morning isn't complete without a fresh brewed cup of coffee. It always tastes better when somebody else makes it (like a Starbucks barista), alas homemade does the trick too.

Love that steam rising! Sitting here with my cup of coffee, I’m thinking how like minded we are! I could purchase a (gazillion dollar) Starbucks cappuccino machine, along with all the necessary accoutrements, and the coffee just wouldn’t be the same, if I had to make it. This is why I like the delayed brew button on my ‘ol machine. I prepare it the night before…and, then when I wake up, it’s as if little elves magically appeared and brewed it.

Those little elves would come in handy for a multitude of chores… off the top of my head things like laundry, grocery shopping, vacuuming and dusting come to mind. Waking up to the smell of coffee is a great idea. Run the bread maker a couple hours before you get up too, and the smell of coffee AND fresh baked bread would make it a pleasure to get out of a warm bed and start the day. Hey – how about get the machine to make a coffee cake? That’d be like coffee and bread put together 2 in 1. Efficiency!

I’m glad you stopped in to say hi. I’ll be reading about your trip to Italy. I’ve always wanted a thorough explanation of the hand gestures too! haha
