  1. I love it! Julie’s a famous internet personality now!!!!!!!!!!! pssst! I know her!

  2. You can’t go wrong with a video that includes a cute dog and and a bakery! How do you like your T1i? I purchased mine just over a year ago because a) my old film lenses were compatible (yes!) b) it was a dslr with video capability. While the video resolution is great, the mic could be better. I’ve found that people really need to speak up. That being said, I did pick up some great sound of tennis shoes squeaking when taping a little bit of a Roger Federer match last spring. Hee-hee.

  3. And when it comes to her next close-up, she already has the best stylist ever that she can book!

  4. Grandma needs to get a better grip on that dog!…haha

  5. I like the T1i a lot – I’ve only ever had the little digital cameras or used disposable film cameras, so it was a new world to me when I got it. I never really thought about the video capabilities when I bought it. It was only recently – almost a year later – when I took some home video and had fun with putting music to it and editing clips together that I find taking video just as much fun as taking photos. You got to see Roger Federer?? That would definitely have been a video-worthy occasion!

  6. The dog is definitely cute and funny, but I actually find that 1 second of the video to be the funniest when Grandma is trying to reprimand the ‘energetic’ dog. Futile! haha

  7. I’d never know you’ve only used p & s cameras in the past….your pics are really nice, particularly the macros. Regarding Mr. Federer, I putter down to Miami every spring to him (and the other players, of course). Here’s a link to some shots from this year’s tourney…my first stab shooting tennis w/a dslr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jet16pics/sets/72157623744610420/

  8. You’ve got some great seats for that event – either that or good access to get within vicinity of the players for some nice shots! No wonder you go down every year for that. You have some interesting photos like the Williams’ Dad giving some coaching on the court, or kissing the dog for good luck. haha You don’t often see photos like that published. How cool!
