Dragon Flying To and Fro
Back at the local lagoon to check out the dragonfly action. And there were two of them at least so there was some action going on. I'm not sure if this is the same one front and back. I didn't catch their names to verify.

Wow! Nice shots! Those guys move pretty fast!

Thank you!… they do motor around indeed. If someone was watching from a distance they would have seen a frustrated person with a camera around their neck stomping their feet, holding their hands up to the sky and muttering words beneath their breath in between taking shots. haha

Pretty cool shots, both of them. I can imagine the frustration, but persistence paid off. Congratulations.

The clarity of the eyes is amazing, especially considering how fast it was zipping around. Well done! I get frustrated just trying to get shots when they’re sitting still. Thanks for taking a peek at my tennis pics. One of my favorite things about the tournament is that you see players wandering around the grounds. Makes for fun (read: potentially frustrating) photo opps. This year I was really fortunate and got free corporate seats from a friend. Problem is…I’m now spoiled forever!

Thanks very much. May have been equal amounts of good fortune and persistence though…

Just wonderful, especially the wings and the face. Your must have the patience of a saint!

There’s a fine line between patience and determination! And after a while that’s all washed over by the stubbornness to stay until you think you’ve gotten what you want. haha
