  1. He looks a bit grumpy. Or maybe he’s just deep in thought about lunch….sushi or sushi? Nice capture.

  2. I wonder what he’s pondering! Breakfast maybe?

  3. I love that toe cheekily poking through his feathers just beneath his chin! Lovely feather definition, well done.

  4. Mmmmm… Yum! Hard to get a California roll in that watershed though, but I’m sure he could’ve come up with his own version of a BC Roll if he hung around there long enough (BC Roll contains salmon skin).

  5. Hard to say what was rolling around his mind. Maybe it was where he was going to fly to later. If I could fly that’s what would preoccupy my mind. Although food is just as good a topic to think about. haha

  6. Thank you! Luckily he was having a bit of a rest and made for a still subject for a good duration. Usually they’re skimming the water flying by when I catch a glimpse of one and of course by the time I get my act together it’s too late. He was cheeky and a bit of a ham for the camera!
