You are so right! The yellow really makes this shot pop. It wouldn’t be nearly as interesting with…say… taupe.

Makes me think more and more that there may be something to Seasonal Affective Disorder! Colour and brightness and variety make life so much more interesting.

They can make a “flour” out of it too. Just be aware of old asian men asking you if you know how to cook it when you buy it…haha.

If that’s the reaction to rice, I wonder what the old asian men would say if I was at the market buying chicken feet??
