Dragonfly Party
There were a lot of take-offs and landings at the local water feature this past weekend in the form of the insect variety. I believe dragonflies symbolize the power of positive force and rejuvenation. Then a ladybug landed on me, and I think that means luck. I'm buying a lottery ticket this week.

Nice shots — really like the blue against the green leaf. I always find dragonflies to be difficult to capture.

I find them a bit scary-looking, but the bright and pretty colours make them beautiful at the same time.

There was much frustration on my part because of their elusiveness in sitting still long enough!

Sweet!!!! I frickin’ LOVE dragonflies!!!!!! Great pics, Kathryn, they’re super hard to catch. They’re like the insect poster children for ADHD.

haha Fantastic analogy! I was chasing them around the marsh and cursing them a number of times for not sitting still. So, they were like children indeed. No gold stars were given out that day for good behaviour, or scratch n sniff stickers — I loved getting those as a kid!
