Sea Lion’s Best Side

Showing his best side for his closeup and cute enough to hug - although you'll need to towel off afterwards - this adorable sea lion can be seen at the Vancouver Aquarium. How do they hear out of those tiny ears? It must be part of Darwinian evolution, with the small ear openings keeping a lid, so to say, on the occurrence of Swimmer's Ear.

  1. So cute! He looks like he’s wondering, “What are you lookin’ at?” His ears are itty bitty, but those whiskers sure are long.

  2. Hmm. Kind of looks like the the sea lion equivalent of Scoob…haha

  3. He does look like he’s thinking something along those lines… probably “here’s yet another human with a camera. People are here everyday until 5pm. I never get any privacy during the day!”

  4. Yes, it has that look of desire for something. But it probably wants something sea-related. I can’t see Scoob the dog craving tuna that much, unless it’s really stinky. Why do dogs like things that smell? Scoob probably thinks she stinks to high heaven after getting a shampoo :)
