Okanagan Life

A backyard view over Lake Okanagan. No wonder the Okanagan Valley is popular with retirees, hockey players and word was at one point that Arnold Schwarzenegger had a summer home here too. It's the closest thing we come to Arizona north of the 49th parallel.

  1. Looks relaxing. To maximize the view and relaxation, your subjects need the wine glasses from your previous post — filled.

  2. That would enhance the relaxation… except it was about 9am. So maybe Spanish Coffee then!

  3. I know, I know. Its tough but someone’s got to live it.

Now that really is enough! I’m in pain. I think you could be accused of bragging with these latest photos: just because you live there and can, doesn’t mean you ought. Have some pity on the rest of us.

  4. Well, nothing is as great as it seems… I admit I took full advantage of a couple days of nice weather! Seeing sunny days have been uncharacteristically few and far between this spring :-(

  5. I love the strong shadows here.

  6. That’s what a sunny Okanagan morning will do, and often by about 11am you’re searching for some of those shadows to seek shelter from the dry heat!
