Shoulder Check While Driving
At first glance it looks like this dog is driving this Toyota down the Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge and doing its due diligence to do a shoulder check. Rather, the dog is in the backseat and is hanging as much of his body out of the vehicle as possible in order to make its own convertible on the first truly summer day we've had this year.

Do you know how many times I’ve wondered what on earth dogs are thinking when they’re put in a car and driven around? Do they know they’re physically going to a different geographical location? Do they know that a human is navigating the car? Do they wonder where other dogs are going that they see in fellow cars passing by? Most often they do look like they’re enjoying rides though, you’re right! Really, who doesn’t like being chauffered around

There’s no shortage of fun when a dog is around! Especially an inquisitive one. Thanks for visiting

Happy dog! I’m pleased to see that he has a collar and lead on so presumably he could not have jumped out in a fit of enthusiasm. Were you being chauffered around while you took the pic?

No, it appears that he did not have a doggie seatbelt on! I was also being chauffered, which I enjoy, but I for the most part always know where I’m being chauffered to. That takes some of the fun and anticipation out of it that Dog in the photo must have been revelling in!
