British Columbia Parks & Recreation
Forget going to the gym to use the Stairmaster for working those glutes. In BC you can go to Lynn Valley and do that type of exercise outside using pathways made of roots of the rainforest.
Makeshift Window Screen
This window screen gets zero marks for styling. In fact, I'm not sure how many marks to give it for practicality either because I'm not aware of any bugs in Vancouver large enough to not be able to fit through that giant gauge mesh. It is a basement window so the screening must be to discourage larger vermin from crawling through... or really weak potential human intruders.
Spur of the Moment Sunset
I didn't have my camera with me when I happened upon this sunset over some farmland in Walnut Grove. I couldn't let it go to waste - my camera phone had to do.
A Bottleneck Sans Bottles
I'm glad I was just passing by Richmond instead of trying to get into it like the rest of these people.
Make Like You’re From Portland, Oregon
When people see a camera there seems to be one of two polar reactions: shy away from the lens, or be over the top and silly. These strangers fell into the latter bucket. They stopped in front of the car mid-stride along an Oak Street crosswalk when they saw me sitting passenger side with my camera. They chirped about being from Portland after striking their poses. Maybe that explains part of it.
I Thought the Names for Roads Were Endless…
... butt obviously I must be wrong since some municipalities have to resort to naming roads like the below. I wonder if it's a dead end street? Or maybe a one way street? One thing about this road name is endless - the jokes and puns.

Cambie Street: Prime Vancouver Streetscape View
When you're relegated to street level, approaching downtown Vancouver via Cambie Street yields some impressive city views.
Bust a Move

It can be very boring at the bus stop. This soon-to-be bus passenger passed the time by busting some moves while waiting for the bus to arrive.
Motorcycle Wrapped
We're all familiar with the prank of covering the toilet seat with seran wrap, or toilet papering somebody's desk at work, and at first when I saw this I thought what a funny practical joke! But this was at a bike shop. There was no nefarious reasoning to it.
Sugar-Topped
A fresh dusting of snow at the higher elevations made it look like somebody took a giant sifter and coated the mountain tops with icing sugar. Being stuck in traffic going north on 176th Street in Cloverdale has its advantages when you have a camera handy. For a time lapse look at this mountain range taken with my camera's video capabilities, check this out.
