Communicative Cattle

During a weekend bicycle ride to Fort Langley I passed by a field of grazing cows. Sometimes animals are skittish and suspicious when strangers stop and approach, but these guys seemed very pleased to have a visitor to entertain. The cow above did a rousing impression of Pavarotti. 1. Looks more like wanting to give you a big, wet, kiss! What a gorgeous whiskery face.

  2. And it did give me one, with the tongue just missing the camera lens by a whisker ;)

  3. I remember biking in Kelowna along the rail lands and almost hitting the cow. I dunno who was more afraid…haha. I love the close up being able to see the actual texture on the cow’s nose.

  4. Good thing its nose was pretty clean so I didn’t have to tell it to give it a wipe first. Don’t you hate it when you have something in your teeth or toilet paper stuck to your shoe and people don’t tell you?! haha

  5. Thanks! You never know what you’re going to get when you click the shutter :)
