Communicative Cattle
During a weekend bicycle ride to Fort Langley I passed by a field of grazing cows. Sometimes animals are skittish and suspicious when strangers stop and approach, but these guys seemed very pleased to have a visitor to entertain. The cow above did a rousing impression of Pavarotti. His/her cohort below wanted to tell me a secret:

Looks more like wanting to give you a big, wet, kiss! What a gorgeous whiskery face.

And it did give me one, with the tongue just missing the camera lens by a whisker

I remember biking in Kelowna along the rail lands and almost hitting the cow. I dunno who was more afraid…haha. I love the close up being able to see the actual texture on the cow’s nose.

Good thing its nose was pretty clean so I didn’t have to tell it to give it a wipe first. Don’t you hate it when you have something in your teeth or toilet paper stuck to your shoe and people don’t tell you?! haha
