Affordable Gastown Accommodation

I was in Gastown last weekend having lunch across from this supposed place you can stay at that has "New, Clean Rooms". After looking in the front window I noticed a utilitarian bucket from Home Depot (a building/home renovation supply store) and a rotary telephone on the front desk that's from 1982. These things advertised in the front window spell neither "clean" nor "new".

    I have a feeling most of the rooms are probably occupied by permanent residents…
