Seashells by the Seashore

Crescent Beach is yet another beautiful part of Vancouver. An off-leash dogpark, walking trails, sand, marsh and bird sanctuary mean there's something for everybody. It was a nice way to spend a sunny weekend afternoon alongside numerous birders with binoculars and cameras around their necks. Parking was plentiful, as were the establishments to stop for a gelato, lunch or coffee. After sifting through and inadvertently stepping on a number of dismembered crab legs left strewn about the sand (the tide was out), I found some shells nicely backlit by the sun.
